VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Redeemer Christian Academy is blessed with many wonderful parents and other mission partners. There are extensive opportunities for parents, grandparents and other adults to become involved in the working of the school. It is a way for your students to see the value of community service. We encourage all of our school families to join us.
See the service hours due, based on the oldest child in your family, listed below.
Nobody can do everything, but everyone can do something!
Service HOURS & OPPORTUNITIES
Parents of Redeemer students are asked to volunteer service hours to Redeemer Christian Academy during the school year, or pay upfront. Both the school and the families are blessed by these service hours.
The service hours and the per family service fee are based on the oldest child enrolled and are as follows:
K-8 full day – 20 service hours or $500
Kindergarten (half days, +2, +3 days) - 10 hours or $250
Preschool and PreK (all offerings) – 5 service hours or $100
Opportunities to serve are listed on the school calendar and are noted in the school newsletters. Any activity done for the church or school may qualify, subject to approval by the School Administrator. Grandparents and other relatives may volunteer, and their hours may qualify subject to approval by the School Administrator. Log service hours on the ‘submit service hours tab.’ Hours are logged throughout the year and a running total is kept.
Each family that completes their service hours is then eligible to have their service fee for the school year waived. If a family does not complete their service hours by May 30, the service fee will be billed to the family at a rate of $25/hour not served.
